What our wagering requirement means

Dux requires 40x wagering on each deposit bonus and on the result of the first-deposit free spins. Real money is wagered first. Once that balance reaches zero, the bonus balance is used, and the bonus is lost if it is wagered away before the requirement is met.

A CA$30 deposit with a CA$30 bonus would therefore require CA$1,200 in total wagers before the bonus balance could be withdrawn: CA$60 multiplied by 40. The exact wagering calculation can depend on the specific bonus amount credited to your account.

Game weighting changes the required turnover

Slots contribute 100% toward wagering, except for excluded slots. Live games, including table games, roulette, video poker and dealer-based games, contribute 10%, as do instant-win games.

That difference is substantial. A CA$10 wager on an eligible slot counts as CA$10 towards the requirement, while a CA$10 wager on a game with 10% weighting counts as only CA$1. The lower weighting means more total wagering is needed to clear the same bonus.

Working through the wagering maths

Consider a CA$60 first deposit with a CA$60 bonus. At 40x, both the bonus and the qualifying free-spin result must be wagered before withdrawal is permitted. If eligible slots contributed the full 100%, the starting wagering total would be CA$2,400.

Using only a live game at 10% weighting would require CA$24,000 in total stakes to place the same CA$2,400 of qualifying turnover. The bonus remains subject to the 7.50 CAD maximum bet, so the larger turnover requirement still has to be completed within seven days.

When declining our bonus makes sense
